We had a lovely 3 nights stay in this beautiful Thüringer Hof hotel, in the heart of Eisenach. The location is very center and easily accessible by car or train. Our room was very comfy and quiet. The spacious bathroom had a bath and a shower and there was plenty of hot water. We had a very generous breakfast at the hotel restaurant every morning, there was really something for everybody to choose from. Dinner at the restaurant was also a treat for a tired traveller and the bar was well equipped. The staff we met were very very friendly and helpful. There was no problem communicating in english with the people at the hotel or almost anywhere in town.

We booked this hotel last minute because it was the one night of our vacation when we did not have a hotel reservation. We needed a place to stay in the area, and fortunately found this hotel. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and in the center of the town. The night we arrived, we ate dinner at its restaurant, Leander. It was honestly one of the best meals we had during our stay in Germany. The same restaurant hosts the daily breakfast, and it was also delicious. We would highly recommend staying at this hotel!

Everything is perfect, from the friendly and attentive staff to the rooms, perfect location (5min by foot from the train station and close to all attractions and the walking street with many shops) and tasty breakfast (huge choice). The hotel's Leander restaurant deserves kudos as well - it features a great menu (...and tapas to accompany an after work drink) and prices match those of the restaurants in the area.

The bus to Wartburg Castle stops at Karlsplatz where the hotel is located. The hotel is lovely, our room was immaculate, beds comfortable, coffee and refrigerator in the room. The breakfast was outstanding.
